A glycerite is simply a fluid extract of an herb that uses glycerin as its method of extraction. They are very similar to tinctures. However, tinctures are carried with alcohol while glycerites are carried with glycerin.
Our glycerite mushroom tinctures are triple-extracted through a 100-day process. The mushrooms are fermented to enhance the bio-availability of Polysaccharides, Triterpenoids, and Alkaloids. A hot water extraction from the fermented mushrooms ensures optimal extraction of water-soluble Polysaccharides, while a 90-day alcohol infusion extracts alcohol-soluble Triterpenoids. The alcohol is then filtered and evaporated out until it is less than 1%, and the remaining extracted material is then infused into natural vegetable glycerin. This intricate process guarantees a premium tincture that reflects our commitment to quality and efficacy.
