Customers who purchase SALVE products for resale or private label should not make marketing claims directly or indirectly stating this product is intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.

SALVE is not responsible for misleading, deceptive or false claims made by its customers or other 3rd parties. SALVE holds no liabilities in such circumstances.

Making these drug claims for cosmetic products is considered misleading and misbranding according to the FDA and may result in the issuance of an FDA warning letter, detentions, recalls, suspensions of registrations, or being placed on import alert.

 

PRODUCT SAFETY TESTING

At Salve Naturals, we specialize in high-quality, small-batch, made-to-order products meticulously crafted under FDA GMP and ISO 221716 standards.

As a manufacturer of highly-customizable, bespoke bulk products, we don't perform final safety, stability, or efficacy testing. The "Brand," our client, is solely responsible for all necessary regulatory and safety testing of the final, packaged product according to the Modernization of Cosmetic Regulations Act (MoCRA). This includes, but isn't limited to, patch testing, consumer safety assessments, and compliance with all local, national, and international regulations.

While it is ultimately the responsibility of the brand to perform their own product safety testing, we've partnered with an ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accredited and DEA-certified lab to offer a range of testing services for an additional charge. These services include:
